The Most Romantic Proposal Ever… {Denton Proposal & Engagement Photographer}

I brought my best friend, Jena, to a ranch this morning under the guise of doing a model shoot for me to try out a new location. But as we were walking out into the field, she sees her boyfriend, David, riding out on a horse dressed like Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice – and is in complete shock. Goldapple Photography She has been waiting and trying to figure out when he was going to propose for months now, and me and her boyfriend have been lying and planting false information in her for a week now, so she was totally not expecting this. He rode up to her, got down on one knee, and asked her to be his wife and marry him! Goldapple Photography She said yes, of course, and he pulled out the ring. He had it custom designed and built it and it is AMAZING! 2 carat diamond in the middle -wowza!!!! It was so incredibly sweet!!!! I love them! So romantic – I am so excited for them! Look how cute they are as an engaged couple! Goldapple Photography The fabulous ring: After the proposal, we did an engagement shoot on the ranch. David had gotten Jena an 1800s style wedding dress, but it didn't fit so they wore street clothes for the shoot – but will rent outfits and try again soon! I will post a sneak peek from the engagement shoot in a couple days – they are such an adorable couple! Congrats, David and Jena! Love you both!

Patience and Love {Denton Couple Photographer}

My husband absolutely hates having his picture taken. I hate that he hates it, because I always have my camera with me, and I am always taking pictures of our life – so he is always in the spotlight (especially since we don’t have kids yet!)! I think I burned him out, because in the first couple years of our relationship, I took insane amounts of pictures of us and our lives. But, despite his hatred for having his picture taken, he allowed me to take him out for a short shoot on Saturday to try out a new location! He showed incredibly patience and love for me and I am so grateful – because these are AWESOME pictures!!! Of course, I’m a bit biased .
