They became friends, and shortly after he met me, apparently he went up to Matt and told him (rather excitedly, I'm told…) that he thought he had found "the one" (me!!). About a year later, my husband Mike and I went to Matt and Jen's wedding, where I caught the bouquet! (see below!)

Funny thing was, Mike had proposed to me I think about a week earlier! Anyway, Matt and Jen have been married 5 years now (in a couple weeks, right??), and to celebrate their anniversary, they wanted to get photos done! They never got engagement photos done or anything, so these are their first professional photos to have done (other than wedding ones!), so we had a real blast. And because Jen graduated from TWU, we thought it fitting to shoot in the beautiful garden on the TWU campus.

I had a blast, and I think Matt and Jen did too! :) Thank you for letting me capture this special time, and happy anniversary!!!

Lauren was such a trooper, hiking all over the UNT campus in her crazy-high heels, rockin' not only the gorgeous heels but a open-for-anything attitude!
