boudoir session creative fee: $175
The non-refundable creative fee covers artist’s time/talent only. It provides you with a 1.5 hr. on-location* photo session and a 7-day online gallery** of at least 35 proofs from which to select images for purchase.
other sessions:
mini sessions – $85 - These sessions are 35-45 minutes in length, and allow time for one outfit in the location of your choice. Mini sessions include up to 15 proofs uploaded to an online gallery to view and purchase from. Available weekdays only, please.
group sessions – $275 – Group sessions are 2 hours include up to 4 women in one location, and include individual boudoir photos as well as group shots. Group sessions include at least 20 proofs uploaded to an online gallery. Great for a bachelorette party idea! As little as only $69 per person.
exquisite hotel sessions – $295 – Exquisite hotel sessions will be held on a very limited basis throughout the year. These sessions are 2 hours in front of the camera with unlimited outfits. They come with approximately 40 proofs in an online gallery to view. To receive more information and the next available date, please email { stacey @ goldapplphotography.com }.
sensational home sessions – $425 – Home sessions are done at your home for up to four hours. I pay extra special attention to detail in these shoots, these are the most luxurious of all my shoots! You will receive proofs in a custom-designed presentation box and an online gallery to order additional prints and products from.
details- Add $25 per additional subject. – I prefer cash/checks. I also accept credit cards via PayPal. – Credits & prices expire 30 days after gallery is posted. Boudoir FAQ
What is boudoir photography? Boudoir photography involves creating intimate and romantic images of yourself, most commonly wearing lingerie. Boudoir is French for bedroom, which most often is the setting for these images. Having these photos made is a rising trend for today’s brides, often at one of the most beautiful times in their lives. Many brides give an album of these images to their husband as their wedding gift. It is also popular to give as the “paper” gift for 1st anniversaries.
Who gets boudoir images done? Anyone who wants beautiful images made for themselves or their husband. Gifts for Valentine’s Day, the wedding day, anniversaries, and for those serving abroad are very popular. Other reasons include maternity boudoir, milestone birthdays and weight loss or other body improvement celebrations.
Who will photograph my session? All boudoir sessions are photographed by Stacey exclusively and no one else will be present. She can guide the posing, but if you have ideas, please feel free to let her know at anytime.
I’m nervous, what is it like? It is normal for most people to feel nervous before and when they first arrive. I will do everything I can to make you feel comfortable – you will be offered champagne at the beginning of the session, and we will begin the session with the most conservative of the outfits so you will have plenty of time to relax and get used to the atmosphere of the shoot before we get to the more revealing photos. By the end of the session, I always hear how much fun it was!
How do I prepare for the session? Iron and use hangers to bring outfits that can wrinkle. Wear loose fitting clothing and undergarments when you arrive so that you don’t have red marks on your skin. Bring outfits that you like and make you feel good – confidence shows in the images! Don’t forget to bring high heels – the higher, the better!
How many outfits should I bring? As many as you like! There is no limit. Bring more than you think you need, you never know what you might decide to wear at the last minute. Remember you can easily dress up a bra-and-panty outfit with thigh-highs, garters, etc. You may want to bring something that belongs to your significant other: a sports jersey, button down shirt, a tie, a hat, etc. Bring heels to go with some of your outfits and jewelry too. At the start of the session Stacey will go over the clothing with you and decide which outfits will be best for the session. Wear the outfit you feel most comfortable in first. Bring something strapless if you are uncomfortable topless for the “in-between-the-sheets” photos. Do not underestimate the sexiness of a simple pair of boy shorts and a cami. Simple is sexy.
Will others see me in my panties during the session? No one except Stacey will see you in your undergarments. Please bring a robe to wear in between shots.
Do you supply clothing? Clothing is not supplied, although we have long strands of pearls,fishnets, and a sexy black necklace, and props such as feather boas, leis, a tie, handcuffs, rose petals, and more available. Popular types of clothing to bring include: night gowns, boy short panties, bra-and-panty sets, bustiers, teddies, baby dolls, tight jeans, mini skirts, bikinis, thigh high stockings, garter belts, wedding night attire, sexy dresses, Halloween costumes, corsets, and workout outfits. You can bring your wedding dress for some images as well. Avoid lots of patterns because solid colors are generally the most flattering.
Where can I do boudoir photos at? Sessions are held at the location of your choice. Your gorgeous home, your girlfriend’s fabulous home, a luxury downtown hotel, even an open field in the middle of nowhere! However, you will be responsible for any cost (hotel room, etc). I will help you determine which location will be the best for the look you want to achieve.
What if I don’t have a beautiful location to take the pictures at? I bring three backdrops with me to each shoot. I prefer to shoot at my clients’ homes because it is more comfortable for the client, but I also have a studio available for an additional fee. I bring blankets for “in-between-the-sheets” shots if there isn’t a suitable bed set in the home.
Can I bring a friend? You are welcome to bring a friend if you feel that she will help you to feel more comfortable, but we do recommend that you come alone. Most women will feel self-conscious if someone they know is watching the session, and generally you will feel more free if you aren’t being watched by others. However, my group sessions are wildly popular for bachelorette parties and lingerie showers, and really are a ton of fun!
Should I bring props? Props can make your images special for your hubby! Some ideas include flowers, cowboy hat, motorcycle helmet, baseball bat and hat, football jersey, birdcage veil, and props relating to his profession, personal interests or inside jokes between you.
What if I am not as skinny as I want to be? You are beautiful the way you are. My job as a photographer is to emphasize the positives and minimize any areas that you are self-conscious about. We will talk about the areas you would like to minimize before we shoot. When you receive your images we hope that you will see yourself being as beautiful as your husband does.
How soon can I have my boudoir session done? I believe that in order to keep the quality of my sessions high, I cannot do high numbers of sessions each month. Due to the custom nature of my work and the high quality I keep, I have limited sessions available. I recommend that you call or email as soon as possible to make sure that the date is available for your session.
Is hairstyling and makeup included? Hairstyling and makeup can be added to your session for $75, but it is not included in any session fees.
Do you do nudes? Sessions can be as open as you want. If you would like to include some fully nude photos in the session, just email or let me know beforehand. A copy of your driver’s license will be required for any boudoir or nude photos to verify that you are over 18.
